We require your full name and address so we can send your parcel to the correct address once your order has been completed. We request your telephone number so we can contact you in the event of a query with your order, and your email address for this purpose, and for the exchange of images to support your purchase i.e. to approve an embroidery design.

Information about our customers is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows,

DIGITAL STORAGE OF DATA
The information collected during the checkout process is stored on our website server. The Little Embroidery Studio website is hosted via Go Daddy, who employ the following security measures to ensure all data collected is secure:
- Godaddy.com is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States of America.
- Employment of security consultants dedicated to the security of customer information who oversee device and application security practices. Employees also receive annual training and periodic bulletins relating to security.
- Utilise a combination of software and devices to protect the network from intruders, and employs physical protection measures to protect the safety of their employees and equipment.
- Encryption of personal data provided via web forms using up to date standards to prevent other intercepting information in transit.
COOKIES and PLUG-INS
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a website site visitor's browser to track movements and actions on a website. They are also used for security purposes, to remember log in details and to preload pages already visited. We do not use plug-ins.
DATA STORED AS HARD COPY
Upon receipt of your order, we create a 'job sheet' detailing all the information required to complete your order, including your name, email address, physical address and telephone number along with specific order instructions. This is stored in a lockable filing cabinet.
